It is always a good idea to keep your windows clean throughout the seasons in order to ensure that no buildup or mold, cracks around the seems, or any other weather-related issues have arisen.

If your windows have three or more of the following problems in this replacement window checklist, it is probably time to replace rather than repair.

• Rotting or split muntins.
